Aye, just did it for fun since we are all somewhat close. On EQRankings Serano is ranked 84 and I am 104 with the rest of you in between.

Will have to come up with a good boobie prize :bewbs

seeing this post made me realize my Magelo is so out of date its not funny, think the last update i made was pre-DoD.

lmao!!!

Yah - I guess I am on the 1k At a time improvement thing now.

You see me back off pretty quick on a lot of bids.

I have a couple criteria

Gear up peeps that deserve it. I coulda outbid Quaanx on the chain boots - but that is our damn raiding shaman!!! He wants some boots and is paying a fair rate - he can have them.

Boots fit my criteria for upgrade. My base requirement for an upgrade is 150 HP or there abouts. Also - I prefer at least a 25 HP upgrade. If I have a 90 HP base item and the drop is 145 HP - that is good enough. but if I have a 125 item (neck) and the drop is 145 HP - doesn't meet either requirement.

Right now - I have boots, arms and leggings that are at 100HP or less. So I prefer to upgrade them to the 150 HP range or greater. Anything less than a 45 HP upgrade will get a bid of 10 or less from me - as I figure anyone willing to bid more than 10 on it needs it more than me. Same goes for a blade. I can use a better blade than the 2 x 16 / 20 ratio slashers I have as my offhands - but at only a 25 HP upgrade - it just isn't worth more than 10 or 20 DKP specially when someone else clearly thirsts (Ayragon) for weapons.

So yah, Like all peeps - I am working on my base HP and AC... but if it isn't a big jump of an upgrade for me - and someone else is bidding more than 10 points I imagine it is a big upgrade for them.

So - yah our current content will only see me bidding on boots, leggings, arms, hat and Gloves - with the possible upgrade of a neck item if there is something cheap - still looking at the MPG fear trial Necklace as a big upgrade. so upgrading wrists with DKP for an HP bump of only 25 or so - just isn't worth it

The not understanding me remark was meant in reply to the

It's Serano's race to lose at this point.

specifically. the "race" part of EQ was [obviously] not something that was important to me - or I wouldn't have been "racing" in TF.

hmmm interesting idea about adding one more Chaotic potential - hadn't thought about the 5 more stamina affecting my HP all tha much. neat

(edit) did a test magelo - added chaotic potential 2 and it upded my HP by 14. hardly worth it as the MUST have next AA. heh heh.

(edit 2) I will have to go to RSS and farm that Bow sometime - that will help me in like 35 HPs. heh.

I'm the same way pretty much.

8 of my 20 items have 100base hp or less, 2 others have 105 so there's tons of room for upgrades at this point in my areas as well. Namely Shoulders, Wrists, & Boots.

The word "race" was used in reference to the title of the poll (Who Will Be the First 7000HP Unbuffed TF Ranger?), not that any of us were "racing" to get there.

I too step off bidding on gear sometimes. I laid off the Earring of Fallen Stars on one of our VT nights for Leebe because I knew the upgrade was greater for her ranger than mine.

Also, I am "almost" as tight with DKP as you and Bilnick are. I think THAT race (#1 in DKP) you actually do pay attention to.

Which bow is farmed in RSS?

blah. Bilnick and I ultimatly don't care how much DKP we have especially not vs each other - other than in jest. We just don't need to throw our DKP around just cause we have it.

To funny Bil

up to 6816 now :thumbup

I would've been close to breaking 6900 if I'd have bumped Mado off that wrist last night, however, I'm cheap & while I had the corpse locked down it seemed like everytime I bid on it something was piercing me in the back, arrows perhaps? LOL

JK, grats Mado on bracer :razz

LOL .... Yea putting the block on ... j/k ... Jumped 100HP with that and the DoN helm I got to use the aug I had on my old bracer.

I was at my last bid, one more and you had it. But the Improved Damage V is what really caught my eye. Really fits my play style arrows/DD spell damage.

Anyways don't have to worry about me bidding on anything soon, down to 5 DKP now  ... lol

As soon as Ranjaling finishes his sickness of spirit - he is 200 - 250 extra - he wins. (wins? what was the game again?)
