Tentative Roster for EQ2

Postby deladriendil » Fri Oct 15, 2004 3:11 am

If you are going to EQ2 please announce in this post with your intended class, race, starting city, and if you are going to be a harcore or softcore player (i.e. only play EQ2 or split between EQ2 and another game) with your expected amount of days per week devoted to the game. Also please post your EQ characters name somewhere in the post (not like i don't know 90% of you freaks but for completion sake)

As of right now there is not a server list. Would assume if they mirror the server names from EQLive that we would all go to Vazaelle. The goal would be to have us all on the same server obviously.

At present this is what I am planning to be:

Class: Fighter (either a crusader or warrior archetype)
Race: Dwarf (if good), Dark Elf (if evil)
Starting City: looking alot like Qeynos but really undecided at this point.
Play Schedule: softcore (a couple days a week, sunday and wednesday likely)

also thinking about two boxing a shaman. but more debate needs to happen before I take that leap.

Sameil is going to EQ2 as:

Class: cleric of some form
Race: something short and annoying (to quote him)
Starting City: Qeynos preferred
Play Schedule: softcore (a couple days a week, sunday and wednesday likely)

Zytic is going to EQ2 as:

Class: bard of some sort
Race: gnome
Starting City: where ever sam and I decide to start.
Play Schedule: undecided

If there are enough of us on the same server we could form TF2.0. That would be sooo fletch! or just go with a family (still not sure wth this means in game).

Anyways post away. Interested to see who we got so far. If there are enough players of the same mindset someone with a current TF tag could probably persuade the officers of TF to allow a division to exist in EQ2 under someone's rule (not me. I just piss off people. I don't really lead).

Wouldn't want to make a guild with that name without their express permission.

*since I can't. please make this a sticky*

I plan on playing EQ2 at some point. I'm not sure whether I will get it on release or wait until Christmas or so (if in fact it does release on 11-16-04). I would probably play a Paladin type character, starting in Qeynos. Since I still enjoy EQ1, I would probably split time between the two until I got bored of one or the other. That and my EQ1 account is paid for until May or June I think.

If I remember correctly, when Sony first introduced their Station Pass, EQ2 was included on the list of games covered. It is not mentioned at all when I looked at the website this morning. It would be nice if a reduced rate was charged to people subscribing to both games, otherwise some people will quit one of them altogether. I hope they do not charge more than 13-15 dollars per month for EQ2.

It would be nice if the people from TF (and ex-TF) could all pick the same server on EQ2, I would definitely be interested in that.

While I don't at this time PLAN on playing EQ2, you never know! If I do however, OF COURSE I will hook up with all my friends over there!

EQ2

Postby Goofydoofy » Fri Oct 15, 2004 9:14 am

I don't think this guild has any plans for EQ2. If somebody wants to move to EQ2 and do whatever they want, I don't see anybody stopping them.
I've already started a AD guild on EQ2.

damn. I had better get my preorder before I run out of time to reserve my Jboots.

Yah -- funny he says sun wed - that will be my wife and my times. Which is our EQlive times right now.

I don't know that I can find my wfe the right class for EQ2 yet - she really likes her Beastlord class. I am pretty sure I will be doing the Chanting in EQ2.

Leaning pretty seriously to being a gnome - but my wife is all like - she doesn't want to have to play with a short ugly character as her in game partner - /sigh chicks. And honestly having trouble finding her the right class that she would like for EQ2 - it took forever for her to settle on BL.

Yeah, I'm supposedly going to EQ2.

Class: Mage (I was going to play a priest, but since Sameil displayed great protest to grouping with a Mage, I'm playing a Mage)
Race: I have no idea...nothing short, that's for sure.
Starting City: Wherever Del, Sam, and Zytic are
Play Schedule: This will be interesting...as I will be playing EQ1, EQ2, & FFXI. So, EQ1 might go bye-bye, but I hope not.

I may 2 box as well, but paying for 6 accounts would suck, 2 for each game. Dunno...

I am pretty much letting Del make the decisions.

if you have questions about eq2 just throw them out here. Since NDA is gone we can try to answer them as best as we can.

Goofy, you need to work harder to be a prick, that one was weak.
