All tanks MUST have CA3 LR5 CS3 ID5 for some of the stuff we will be moving to soon. The less damage you take the better. Once you have all defensives, then I would get fancy with your offensives.

Once you have all your defensives - you will understand what I mean.

I have always felt that LR is much > than CA simply because not getting hit at all is better than getting hit for less every time you get hit. Put the two together and you can make almost any class a rampage tank heh.

I assume you mean LR is > then CS/ID. CA is the predecessor of LR, CS(Combat Stability)/ID(Innate Defense) is dmg% mitigation.

This may be fucked up but this was my logic when deciding between CS and CA.

I chose CS first because if I get quadded hard, i want the healer to know what's coming in terms of heals needed. CA is less of a chance of getting hit but when you do get hit (and its not like with CA you never get hit) you get hit hard.

I put CS over CA first because I wanted the healer to know exactly what they were dealing with instead of their tank relying on the RNG to tank with.

How do the healers feel about that?

honestly, less damage is awesome.

With CS you are decreasing the amount of damage every hit.

With CA you are completley avoiding damage based on a fraction.

I say with CA3 and LR5, the CHANCE of COMPLETLEY avoiding a hit (say 400-800damage) far surpasses the damage lessened by CS over the duration of the fight.

In healing terms, i would rather see a FAST fight where you dodge hits insteada taking them with less damage.

I have CS1 and CA2. And I see the benifits of CA MUCH MORE then CS.

Its hard to explain. I vote for Ca3 and LR5....avoid them hit insteada taking them for les damage.

The reason you see the benefits more, ever think why that is?

CA has a % chance of dodging.

CS is working 100% of the time.

The only way one can really make a final call is with a parse over an extended amount of time. Since I am more mage than warrior I need to start doing more warrior homework than mage homework =x

Currently i have LR1, CS2 and PE which if you recall adds a 2% increase to ND, CS, and CA. For myself since i tank ALOT, i know im a frigen RNG but oh well.. i will be completleing LR5 before finishing cs.

I have heard that the quest is bugged from a few of my friends in triality/ad.
