no thats Yaulp line of spells, which adds more mana regen as we stand/melee or whatever.

But yea Bot9 is lame for us clerics unless we have a shammy around to overnbuff the HP and AC

the mana regen is same

yes you are right for cleric only zyzz but when im buffing my group I buff with what will benefit them the most so I dont have to heal so much :razz
Which is what I was reffering to last night during our group. The time on symbol doesn't make a difference to me I'd rather give them the best option for there class, then i will worry about buffing myself. :razz We all play different and prefer different things

i completley agree Dad,

I was just curious why you wanted a symbol?

So I decided to do a study on them.

What other classes have a self buff that gives 8mpt and hp / ac?

I think it is alot, if not all caster classes.

And is it that 9 blocks these self buffs because of the hp/ac increase?

Basically, if you are getting the same mana regen from self buff as bot9 gives ya*8* , and virtue + self buff will surpass in hp and ac symbol+9+WoG, then why not keep self buff + Virt up?

This study is purely for edu.

self

Pallies have a self buff that gives them more benefit to use Virtue because it doesn't stack with 9. Im not sure on SK's but other then that all the caster line spells are not stacked with Focus.

Hah!
I knew our self buff line + Virt was always better than Kaz/9....
*shakes a fist at those who tried to convence her otherwise. :twak *
Oh...
And I have OoW now (thank's to Ezanith!)... I'm working to max my Feflexes AA, to be followed by the Wis/stat's cap AA's, and Combat Stability. Aaand then I will work on my healing AA's....
I like to survive aggro.

all i feel better now, at least 1 less cleric will be taunted to accept 9/kaz....

Anyway, aggro survival is key, but I am gonna keep on my healing AA till maxed out in OoW.

Lotta new AA that make heals more effective with same mana. This makes me less inclined to drop points on mana+ AA.

But you so got me on the Combat Mitigation / Avoidance AA.

They are like $ in the bank.

I like spell casting subeldty as well tho)...to bad GoD fucked us on the AA costs.

I bought rank one of the GoD persistant casting, and it is WONDERFUL... I'm going to be working on that as well.
I have LR5 currently, and it too is very useful. I learned early that surviving aggro is very important. I had that realization at a Kael raid where poor Vkeira (62 cleric at the time) got aggro from 2 giants and died in 3 seconds, they aggroed me right after, yet I survived long enough for Aiela to pull them off me and I was only level 44 at the time. My AC was higher than Vk's, and that really made me focus on making sure I can survive aggro. I can barely survive aggro from the OoW mobs, but I'm working on it.
I have the Combat Stability rank 1, I haven't noticed much difference yet. But I think I'll see it really shine when I get to the 2nd or 3rd rank.

LR is 3 points every rank.

CA/LR line will add a HUGE improvement to casters, whereas CS/ID is much smaller.

You guys are correct that taking JUST symbol / 9 is worse than virtue / aotz. However - on raids where all buffs are available, symbol / 9 / focus will give you the best benefit. If a beast or shaman is not available, then always go virtue / aotz.

All players no matter their race / class should eventually have maxed CA/LR and CS/ID. I know OOW brought more defensives out to play but I havent researched them yet and we are not raiding there yet either.

Hmm

I know this isn't the warrior thread but since the topic is being kicked around I was curious whether I should really be stressing about getting the pop defensives like LR/ID or can I get to them as I buy up other needed abilities?

I was thinking since I went straight for my Arch defensives that the pop/oow ones wouldn't be a high priority. But I'm not sure so here I am asking. This is in regards to Waystin btw.
