Beastlords: Q&A

Just curious if any of you bl's out there have purchased the ambidextery (sp) aa, and have noticed a substantial increase in off hand attacks, or if anyone has invested in sinister strikes and noticed a decent increase of dps. Almost finished with my defense aa's and just looking for the cheapest way (using passive aa's) to increase my dps.
Any imput would be appreciated.

I've noticed many high-end warriors don't purchase ambidexterity. Not sure why but its got me wondering..

I was talking to Masa... from AD at one time about this. He's seen an approx 15% dps increase since purchasing. That aside, it is a prereq... to purchase sinister strikes from GoD.

Sinister Strikes - passive, max 1, cost 15
Requirements: Level 65, Amibidexterity 1
This ability increases the damage you cause when attacking with your secondary hand.

I was thinking about this after i posted and I'm not sure how many AA you have atm. Just a thought before you buy it, if you haven't bought MGB yet.. i know that can be extremley useul for BST's esp when casting Paragon of Spirit. Just like the druids MGB Spirit of the Wood, cast at the right time can be a Raid saving event.

Talking about Raid AAs, I will soon be focusing on some as well that should really help us out. I am sure we all remember those times on our TF raids when some loot or coin drops and there is just no room or want by anyone to pick it up. SOLUTION - I will be grinding out some more AAs so I can get my GOD AA Packrat ability. This is really another godsend AA for the monks, descrbied as "Each rank in this ability improves the efficiency with which you store your gear, effectively reducing your overall weight. "

I can't weight!

hmmm When the RL has me Main loot - if there are crap loots ( like the forged weapons last night) I just drop what I can't hold to clean up the bodies or hand to people and ORDER them to take them which they ussually cancel - bastards.

Butussualy I have enough room and all sales and coins go to the raid budget - Dots to all raiding clerics and Chanters if there are going to be runes and a stack of pearls if there is COH going on.

thanks for the input Guardrail, 15% increase in dps seem pretty impressive for 9aa's or was that a 15% increase from both abi and sinister? either way 15% seems a far cry above the 6% i've heard from gaining feral swipe, and being passive, its one less button to push.
Wanted to stay away from class aa's so i could keep my venerable tag longer (like i need to be reminded how elderly i am :? ) , but my only other thought was investing in weapon affinity and spell casting fury, which just seems to incosistant having to rely on a proc/critical spell hit to increase dps. I'll letcha all know how it turned out in 24 aa's :razz
