Sacred 2

Postby Horcrux » Fri May 22, 2009 5:31 pm

Anyone try Sacred 2 on PS3 or 360 yet? I used to be big into Diablo 2, and this seems like the same style of game and thinking about getting it.

I've heard from the co-worker that sits next to me that the game is not going to be supported via patches and that it has some very horrible flaws, like blacksmithing not being in the game.

Or save files corrupting irrecoverably so. GL man! He says flaws aside, the game is fun.

Is it supposed to be? I never played Sacred 1 so not sure what that means exactly.

The save file thing doesn't sound fun though.

Apparently there are professions or tradeskills in the game to choose from.

One of them is in there but not implemented at all. That's quality, assured!

Gamespot review

This sounds like a game I would like. I enjoyed Champions of Norrath for the PS2 and the Untold Legends series for the PSP and PS3. Not much plot, but just some Gauntlet style plowing through dungeons action. I might get this for the 360. (the review indicated the PS3 version was a bit choppier, besides I like the 360 controller much more than the too small PS3 controller)
