For van halen fans

Postby Jahras » Wed Mar 12, 2008 10:11 pm

This is way funnier than it should be, but this is what happens when you isolate david lee roth's vocals, it gets really rediculous in the second half.

I think you can sum it up with

HOOOO
OH GOD OH GOD
WOO HOO HOOO
<whistle>

Exactly, and without the backing music he sounds even more rediculous than he already is

Anyone who's response is "beedledeezeedledeebop!" is fairly ridiculous to begin with. :guitar

I saw VH a few months ago with DLR. They were pretty good overall, but DLR vocals seemed to be at a lower level compared with the band vs. Sammy Hagar.

It was good to see them with DLR, but no way would I pay the price that I paid again.

I didn't listen to the clip (no speakers on my work PC), but I can guess the clip is not very flattering. But then again you could probably take almost any band that plays live and the vocalist might sound rediculous.

Its the studio recording from the album (which is as good as anyone is ever gonna sound) with his vocal track sorted out... when he ACTUALLY sings, its not bad, but Rick Flair musta been one of his audiatory influences. heheh I still like the song though =)
