Painting spree, oh my.

Postby Velnarin » Tue Aug 01, 2006 9:42 am

When was the last time I posted again? A couple years ago? Don't answer that.

Really it's because I intended to only throw fanart about, but I haven't done it in so long...

So, this is a test. If anyone'd like to see more other stuffs after this, I'd be glad to oblige. In the meantime --- this morning I made my first painting uhm... pretty much ever. Being a very stubborn individual I've refused to touch traditional media for about the last ten years barring normal pencils, but after this week, I believe I'll be lifting my ban. I'm rather proud and want to show my family~!

Due to be matted, framed and sold on eBay within the next week. Interested? Do tell.

PS - Noobcakes prolly know me better as Tansera Vel'Ardun, thief of my fiance Kinelr Vel'Ardun's account. *whistles*

my daughter makes me draw stuff. I hate it. Not the picture you drew - I hate it when I have to draw.

... I just noticed a few minutes ago that the cloud looks like a coiled chinese dragon. *sniff* Gonna be hard to see this go. By the way the white birdy thing on the rock's err... I decided I wanted a "symbol of dawn" somewhere, and what better than a phoenix. A ghost of one, at least. Or whatever your imagination says it is.

Lolz~

I am actually going to do just that, but the matt I wanted for the painting I'm going to sell wasn't in stock so I haven't put anything up in two weeks. It just came in today actually, if they're on time. *excited*

Hmm thats one giant white bird sitting on the rock on left shore lol .. compared to the tree on top of hill on right that appears closer. Hey it could be a bonzai tree I guess :P

Best part of that landscape is the water :) The shadows, distortions, and currents look pretty realistic.
