Trivial: 394

Debilitating Thickener (1) Crafted with Research, 35 Trivial
Ink Additive of the Nameless (1) Storebought
Ink of Druzzil Ro (1) Crafted with Smithing, 35 Trivial
Quill of the Forest Stalker (1) Crafted with Research, 35 Trivial
Runic Vellum (1) Crafted with Research, 243 Trivial

Anyone able to make this? If so what do I need to bring to you?

it would be much cheaper for you to get a group in RSS and farm names, with the levels we're at now, RSS is very very easy to do such in. You can run from camp to camp usually cause there are not a lot of people there.

The names drop the greater (level 69) runes, your last level 69 is natures balance.

RCoD too has quite a range of nameds that can drop runes iirc

this is what amuses me so much when people drop more than 1 or 2 dkp on a greater rune they could get essentially for free :P

glowings are a bit harder to come by, but a few names in RCoD are groupable that can drop them.. on occasion

I pretty sure the nameds at the signet camp near BMR dropping a greater on a somewhat regular basis. IIRC theres 2 nameds in that area not including signet mob. Camp is easy enough and not hard to pull, look me up for the rune hunt (I could use the signet anyway)

EDIT: The alternative is group MPG trials. I know I'm not the only one keen on doing these, runes and some pretty decent gear should be incentive enough to get a group going.

Just quickly consider something. 1dkp=60minutes right?

If you aren't a 2-3-5 boxer, let's say you make a group. for say, RCoD or MPG. How many minutes on average?

Then, you get to the camp, start pulling, a rune drops. You roll for it.

How many minutes on average before you win a rune?

I've camped runes for hours and hours and lost all the time. I'm still missing a level 70 oow spell.

I know the majority of my time is spent in raids because that's when I can play. So consider that if you are a high-playtime member bidding against someone else for something like this and you know they won't be getting one in groups.

I paid 36DKP for my lvl 70 earth pet heh.

Well, this gives me an incentive to skill up research some more. I currently can make spells up to 65 with a fairly good success rate, and if I can get to 250 and finish my expert trophy I should be able to make the 69/70's ones with a 50 percent success rate. I am not sure how much the components cost though. Do we have any 250 plus researchers now in the guild--only 223 atm but mainly been lazy with skilling up. I think I have enough parchments and other components saved to get to 250 so let me know how many guild members still need their OOW spells.

bill, NOWADAYS in someplace like RSS you can get a group of well geared people that just want easy xp to plow through it with, who dont really need the runes - thats what i did. Lots of easy fast xp, I just had them go hit the names I wanted as well :)

When more people did RSS just for the loads of runes and stuff yeah. I'm just saying its a lot easier.

I was there about 6 hours, finished level 70, 30-40% into 71, 3 greaters for jam, all 4 25 ac augs for Q, and probably a couple thousand plat.

If you know people who will go there then go for it

36 hours of DKP for a spell! /shudder :) :rockout:

6 hours in RSS. I'd be lucky if I've spent a total of that long in the zone since oow came out minus time spent raiding.

oh avce was there for a while too and got -all- of his 69 runes :P

hopefully WBW's will hit it off and will help ease the rune hunts a little bit depending on what is done

I started bidding 10 for Glowing runes back in the spring - took this long for me to get 2 for 18 total. got the first one in a group/raid in Ruins. If I had play times that wasn't raids and DOD catch up missions I would prolly have farmed them there instead of spending 18 hours - but meh... Satisfied - I finnally have my 195 Proc buff.
