MPG Group Trials

Postby Lyannah » Mon Oct 02, 2006 11:52 pm

I hear these are pretty easy now but there is alot of quite nice gear for the effort, and some greater/glowing runes to boot. Each successful trial also increases your resists cap by 5.

I'll be trying to form groups for these whenever I am on (usually way late for you americans) during the week, and also on weekends away from raid times. Ideally I'm thinking friday after whatever raid to knock out a few at once (hopefully fridays raid isn't too long). Let me know if you're keen to tag along for the fun :thumbup

Trials

I'll help with these. I only have 3 of the 6 done and I'll gladly do the ones I've done already to help.

After my last 2 dod missions for Drannor (68.3 & 68.4) I'll be working on these as well. Holla anytime you need a mage or tank!

Cap

Postby Goofydoofy » Tue Oct 03, 2006 11:01 am

By the way, that is a 8 raise to resist cap per trial, not 5.

Information

Postby Goofydoofy » Tue Oct 03, 2006 11:15 am

You can get information by going to: http://www.rpgexpert.com/cid_1.html and searching for: Proving Grounds

This only yields information on 5 of the 6 trials, however. Not sure why. You can also view some information here: http://eq.crgaming.com/viewarticle.asp?Article=6974

I find it best to have at least one person who has actually done the specific trial in the group as first hand knowledge always helps.

I'm down for these, I really like doing the group trials. I have done Destruction, Weaponry, and Fear many times.

Yea I've only attempted fear once. Had a cleric that liked to ninja afk and a necro that said i don't have fear spells.....

Ended badly but I'm super keen to try with a real group, pickup groups be damned.

OK we have a nice show of hands for this. This friday 20th 6pm I'm going to jump on and get at least some of these going before the raid.

Be there or be square :thumbup

Let me know if you are coming or if this time is bad and I'll reschedule. Give me some warning though, I'll be getting up early for this.

If post friday's raid (assuming its a short raid) is better let me know.

I get out of work @ 6pm so GL.

As for me, my computer DIED around Quarm on Saturday, I died at Inny, jump-started my machine to see Quarm lol. hopped in while he was engaged and after he did, my computer died along with him.

I believe it is a RAM issue but I am still doing diagnostics at work.
