ToB access group

Postby Keld » Mon Aug 21, 2006 5:24 pm

I was wondering if anyone would like to group up and do a mission or two before raids for ToB access? I know a lot of people already have their ToB keys, but if you haven't finished your or even started yet, it would be a good idea to start doing them.

It would be nice to have the group be mostly guildies so that we can all get our ToB keys. It wouldn't take too long too.

Well I've been doing good with these missions so far. Have finished all the Ro missions and have Skylance 2 left. They're not really that hard, just need to know how to get by doing them the "easy" way :) .

There is definately an easy and a hard way to do Ro 2, Ro 3, and Skylance 3. The rest really revolve around knowing what to expect and forming your group thusly. And really knowing how to push your class abilities to the edge. Skylance 1 however is pretty fun, in that the two named involved use mechanics normally found in raids. I'm excited to hear that more single group encounters in the future will involve raid mechanics. Makes fights much more interesting than killing a mob slightly harder than a trash mob.

Yeah Skylance 1 actually was fun. I liked the part where I had the cleric cast DA on me and then I ran up ramp to do turn in, jumped down and got COH to safety! Of course Seraphian popped DA and trained a few away for me too :guitar.

I also look forward to some single group encounters that are more like this, instead of just hard hitting and lots of HP.

whats the easy way to do Ro2 and Ro3? Would love to know.

Skylance 2 is a very easy peasey kite mission. I didn't kill a single mob.
