I think the girls would have excellent insight on this topic lol

Before is the only real answer imo.

But at least 15-20 min before its "game time"

Make sure and inform the person you are duelling that you just finished up before duel starts... maybe it will distract them a bit :P

Make sure you slap them in the face with your glove before you inform them of your challenge to a duel.

Slapping you opponent in the face with a glove is the traditional way to challenge someone to a duel...you could always tell them after the fact that the glove you used was "the" glove :boxing

Before the duel will relax you

During the duel will relax you

After the duel will relax you

There are no rules about dueling one handed you know :razz

Rules of Dueling:

Rule 10. Any insult to a lady under a gentleman's care or protection to be considered as, by one degree, a greater offense than if given to the gentleman personally, and to be regulated accordingly.

Rule 15. Challenges are never to be delivered at night, unless the party to be challenged intend leaving the place of offense before morning; for it is desirable to avoid all hot-headed proceedings.

Rule 20. In all cases a miss-fire is equivalent to a shot, and a snap or non-cock is to be considered as a miss-fire.

Rule 22. Any wound sufficient to agitate the nerves and necessarily make the hand shake, must end the business for that day.

Well technically Flarren had said before, during, and after already, but Offem's wording was definitely much better. Though I would have to imagine trying to duel one handed would get awfully distracting. :jack:

Hmm

Female perspective here mind you...but...

I would say same as if dating...30 mins before. Gives you time to nap, clean up, get your wind back...and more relaxing train of thought.

More "fluidity" in movements, speach, understanding and skill. This is a must for talks, duels, and other tensing issues.

Of course...allows you to recharge some so you can ...um...go again later with out disappointment for "special celebrations" that you might want to consider later. :)
There is more then ONE meaning to the word QUIVER! ;)
