What a bunch of garbage.

I wish they had replaced the picture of the power plant with a picture of a group of people and animals and stated, "Here are a few of the 300+ million people emitting CO2 daily"

So if CO2 is a threat to human health, should we stop breathing? (or at least exhaling) :help

Hmm maybe should mandate everyone go vegetarian so that there are less cows an pigs an such producing greenhouse gasses, and more plant crops sucking them out of the air *shrug*.

Annual plants are generally not good CO2 sponges because as they decay they re-release any stored CO2. Trees would need to be planted.

Until there is a good bacon or steak tree, I say no to the vegetarian idea.

Everything humans do is a threat to human health. We should all be killed for the sake of humanity.

Profs: Human race must become Hobbits to save planet
British men 3'3" tall would meet UK carbon pledges

Public-health researchers in London have come up with a new plan to save the planet: wealthy westerners should all reduce by several inches in height by starving their children. This would not only save food, but make people much lighter, meaning that cars and buses would use less fuel.…

Just because something is naturally occurring does not mean it is not dangerous, especially when something is producing it in unnatural quantities.

Carbon monoxide occurs naturally - volcanic activity, forest fires, the breakdown of heme in the human body, etc. It is also responsible for hundreds of accidental deaths and thousands of suicides in the United States every year. According to the NEJM, it may cause more serious injuries and deaths every year than any other poison. So would you say that carbon monoxide is safe?

The idea that just because something is natural it is not dangerous is just flat out dumb. There may be valid criticisms of the EPA's decision here, but that is just not one of them.
