Is it gross income or taxable income (ie, after deductions)? that makes a huge difference.

I see this quote from the article as meaning I am ok :) Either way, but they treat us as a couple by this definition.

The rebates would phase out gradually for individuals whose adjusted gross income exceeds $75,000 and for couples with incomes above $150,000.

On another note .. holy shit 16k/yr child support!! Thats a lot of money.

Yeah Georgia child support laws were the suck when I divorced. She could have got 25% of my gross so it could have been worse. Now the law has changed some but I'm waiting to take her back to court after her 2 little ones by the new hubby have reached 4 years of age. Until then they won't concider her "having" to work. By then my oldest will drop off as well. So 2 and 1/2 years of paying out the nose then I'm gonna see about getting it reduced to about 1/2.
