It's time for another tea party. Except this time instead of tea.. lets just throw the lawmakers overboard.

Wow, what a shitty place to be a 17 year-old. I really hope the law passes, somehow.

The quote from Stoughton caught my eye, I forgot the other Stoughton is in Wisconsin heh. I used to live in Stoughton, MA for many years ;)

I do not understand why it would cost more to put a 17 year old in the juvenile system vs the adult system. The beancounters would have to explain that. But a 17 year old convicted of grand theft auto (pun intended) would spend more time in prison currently, than if the law was changed, correct? The article doesn't give enough details really.

Why specifically tax videogames though? Why does the money have to come from increased taxes? Seems silly to tax a specific form of entertainment. Why not tax movie tickets? DVDs? Cable/Satellite TV? Ipods?

This seems like a lawmaker who wants to see his name in the paper.
