AA path for the Pink Ranger

well holy crap... I just spent my lunch designing an AA path that will take me all the way from 84 AA to 863 AA.

just figured i'd put it here for commentary...

note i'm NOT interested in getting defensive first. I'm developing Q as a damage and support role first ^_^

I would move up casting reinforcement it cuts down on mana sucking and add's to disc time.

Sheez Q...if you have time to post all that at work you have time to do what i do and load EQ on your work computer and knock out a few HHK MM's per day!

I would humbly suggest moving Chaotic Potential and Mystical Attuning (which I believe increases proc rate) ahead of healing AA's, after all if Ranja is healing we might as well gate!...LOL

SCR adds to disc time? like WS and trueshot? I didn't know that.

And no way could I play EQ at work even at lunch...

I gather the large break is between what you have and what you are looking at.

I would push the following to the top

Physical Enhancement 1/1 ==[5] Last chance to get free HP from an AA other than the gift of the keepers Don tier 1. take it now.

Healing Gift level 1. Train one level and forget about it for a long time

Healing adept. skill this line up to max first above all other skills. The gain of about 4- 500 per heal is incredibly useful. Add on top of that a healing focus 5 item if you dn't have one already. Rangers spot heals have saved many a group and a couple raids believe it or not.

Auspice of the hunter is a fun little toy. After I got Auspice I bought MGB and whip out a MGB Attack buff on top of the pred everyone else already has - has it made a diff? I dunno - fun to cast on the raid tho. I VERY rarely use MGB on pred - but sometimes I do right after a raid wipe and rebuff session. FYI - never MGB Hunter - hah hah.

Then you can goof off with the attack and defence lines.

At least that is kinda how I went. BTW _ in case I missed it - heart my Adept masetery - I love that AA - wish there was more.

Seconding this. Ranger/Beast heals can really rock once you get some AAs and focus on them.

Never forget Healing Adept inc Dmg from LT procs on Weapons. Healing aa's on a ranger are golden once you get them.

ooh old thread.

lifetaps = DD basically... crit nuke aa for more healing.

Or so a lot of people have told me. i havn't spent any on those yet.

Auspice MGB'able?

Auspice was one of the first aa's I max'd for my ranger, are you saying it's MGB'able Serano?

BTW I have had very good luck using Auspice in combination with Magician swarm pets just ask the mage to swarm wait until all his little buddies have zerged than use auspice. I set up a macro for it to let the group know when I've activated it to also inform them of the increase in heal/nuke crits.

Auspice won't affect swarm pets....I don't believe swarmers are affected by Pet group buff AA. They are by Auras.....someone correct me if I'm wrong.

i know your regular pets are hit by group spells if you have a specific AA, like pet affinity or something like that.

swarm pets dont work quite the same in game (you dont get the pet window and they're temporary) so I dont know exactly how it goes.

however you get messages when spells wear OFF of your pets.

so you could try to test it if you dont have those filtered. Use your swarm pets with your pet aura up, and then turn the aura off before the pets go away, see if you get a message saying the same thing.

then try again with a very short buff on one of them and see if you get a wear off message.

any mages care to test this ?

Hello. You guys dont know me.

I was trolling the board and saw this, I know its an old post.

Spell casting reinforecement adds like 5 seconds to your WS and im not sure on the time it adds to your TS never really timed that.

Healing AAs rock. I crit heal for 4k sometimes.

Rangers should never use MGB to buff on raids, Total waste of a good AA. At the time of this post Auspice was the best out, now we have Recon. If you have more rangers with MGB you can set a MGB chain up and increase DPS by a ton( Dont have the numbers infront of me).
