Complete Healing question.

How do you reduce the 10 second casting time for this spell. BoR and spell haste iv do not effect it.

Got a cleric friend who is having issues losing tanks by a second or two. (me in particular). and starting CH earlier not an option.

I know 2 posts from me in a month, miracles do happen.

I don't think it is either...all spell haste focus effect items I know of (for beneficial) have the old "Limit: Spell(Complete Healing excluded)
" tagged in there.

its not possible
all spell haste effects have a restriction coded in them that prevents Complete Heal from being affected by it, sorry.

Nothing reduces it ...thus it's ur 10 sec heal, forever.

There's nothing you can do about the 10 sec CH hun. :sad: Only thing I can tell you, is have him find out what the mob con's to him. More than likely someone in the group is going to know something about that particular mob. You should also give him a heads up on how many HP's the tank has or what you have. That can help him too. In most cases it's a judgement call really. Here is and example:

Last night I went to MPG for the first time. Now everything there con's NEON RED to me. (67th lvl I am) These mobs hit hard. Jumjam told me he had a lil over 10k hp's. That gave me an idea on when to heal. Most of the time I was healing when he got to about 40% health. I also noticed I was unable to have any kind of adds at that point. So, what I started to do was use my Prior Elixir with my CH. That helped out tons. I didn't need to heal him as much and it saved me on mana. This also helped out if we had any adds that came along. All I know is that it worked out great.

just wait till RSS when you have to start CHeal on inc message :)

but yeah, if CHeal is landing a bit late, lead off with a HoT and that will buy you some much needed time. being a monk i never get the good heal, i just get spammed with the fast ones if i end up tanking. GO GO MANA SPONGE.....er........ MONK TANK :)

there is nothing that can be done to change the c heal... however a cleric can get the aa's for things that help heal along the way. Celestial regen helps and the other that takes from other members and gives to target. Another option is to HoT prior to inc to give a bit of "cushion", which im infamous for on Mazzie since the spot heals till slowed can get ya killed too. OR... get a spot healer that knows to spot heal.

After doing some events that require a 7 cleric, 1 sec pause cheal chain and a spot heal chain... Cheal needs to be ungimped as badly as mana burn does

imo they need a way to haste it, or to increase the amount of hp it heals so it's an actual cheal

i was always wondering that myself.......why does it take more than 1 CHeal to fully heal 10K tanks that arent taking damage ? "Complete Heal" should be just that COMPLETE.

lol i just put 2 and 2 together, i remember a while back grouping with a cleric that had "InComplete Heal for %T" as his CHeal message, and not that we've had this discussion it made me smile thinking about it :)

That was a nerf. It originally healed ALL. This spell is one of the main problems with the mechanics of this game.

Making it incomplete was the smartest change they've made.

That logic was why pet canni was around for so long. The game was progressing in a way that made it impossible to continue scaling.

15k tanks is another example of scaling issues with older mechanics. A single heal doing 15k 100% of the time is a bit much.

From a raiding PoV, I disagree. It makes shifting bewteen expansions very hard, as some like PoP and DoN are more heal heavy than DoN and OoW, which require more dps. You can recruit 13 clerics to get you through TRC, but half of them are going to be forced to sit out of Ikkinz.

I am pleased that they have increased the healing power of other classes, as it has decreased the need for heavy cleric recruiting. But nothing is going to replace a cleric cheal.

For grouping - yeah, it balanced it there I guess.
