Cleric / Druid Complete Heal Chain Procedure

Basically put Anguish will require us to rezz up the old Cheal chain - and no I dont mean more Sinzan!

So I wanted to get all the clerics and healers alike to be familiar how the Complete Heal Chain works and how to set it up on the fly.

Personally I would like to make it as simple as I can - so anyone can easily step into the mix and cover for a dead cleric in the Chain when we are mid fight - aka on the fly.

So here goes, this is how to setup your hotkey:

/auction __ CH INC ON %T ___ 111
/cast 3
/cast 3
/cast 3

Thats it!


%T will call out your current target, which will be the tank always. Be it Drigarx - Jum - Asterrn - Storm - Robag ect

The " 1 " after the call represents your position in the Chain - the second cleric will use the number 2 - the 3rd will use 3 ...ect..ect

The " /cast 3 " represents the spell gem # Complete heal is setup as for you. I have mine as #3 - yours might be #1.

The reason you do it 3 times in the hotley is because of a chance of fizzle or will recast the trigger the casting - very good trick.

**Timming between CH casting - will be called by the RL for each mob. Problably anywhere from 3-4-5 seconds depending on the event. Meaning we can eliminate the need for a /pause command by simply self-counting. /pause can be comfuseing - cause lag and make for a difficult transition of the chain on the fly.

Here is an example of the proper CH Chain.

Zyzzerzazz auctions: ___ CH inc for Jumjam___ 111
Irishhealer auctions: ___ CH inc for Jumjam___ 222
Antok auctions: ___ CH inc for Jumjam ___ 333
Avce auctions: ___ CH inc for Jumjam ___ 444
Clarr auctions: ___ CH inc for Jumjam ___555

So in Raid Say you will see:

Zyzzerzazz tells the raid: __ OK ALL CCH = 4 SECONDS
Zyzzerzazz tells the raid: __ CCH ORDER = Zyzz - Irish - Antok - Avce - Clarr.

When Zyzz casts and Irishhealer sees Zyzz's text in Auction - She will count to 4 in her head and click after 4 seconds is up. Its that easy.

If the Raid Leader calls - PICK UP CCH - SWITCH TO 3 SECOND all will know to just count to 3 seconds and not 4 before you cast.

I recomend line 3
/pause 2 (this is 2 /10ths of a second)
/cast 3
/cast 3

This allows for a slow game to not ignore your second go at casting.

I tend to prefer pause on long low cleric fights like shyra. pause does lag a little, but we won't be using stopwatches to time chains anyway.

Until we learn to count (and yes, I mean that in dead seriousness,) when we are only doing like 3/4 cleric chains, /pause allows for far more reliable healing, meaning fights where we only have the bare minimum required to cover the chain and no druids/shams to spot go smoother. (like - shyra out of defensive - pause ends up with heals getting almost regularly spaced, and a majority of them landing for 8-9k.)

last time we tried this - we ended up counting so poorly than in a 5*5 chain, spell gems weren't refreshing before it came time to cast. (in theory, a 55 chain should have spell gems refreshing twelve seconds before time to cast, factoring human lag in to that, still at least a few seconds.)

also, you can put pause on the same line as another command if you separate them. pause is the only command you can dualline tho.

No /pause CCH worked fine lastnight once we were all on the same page.

Ture and KTH was flawless.

As of Warden but he dosnt have much of a cch required fr healing.

Casting c-heal is not rocket science.

Unless you've had too much to drink or smoke or both. But when you are at that point you will end up worrying more about how to tie your shoe lace that came undone :thumbup

We got the three warders or whatever to around 50%. One of the groups was a little shorthanded and bit it first. Not a bad first try imo.
