2.8 Pent 4, Nvidia 5700 ultra, 500MB of Ram, graphics turned down and still laggy. Ordered 500MB more of ram today. Game looks great but a graphics beast.

I have to beat my wife and boy to play it though. Might get expensive around here buying three new rigs for release.

Im running a fx5700, 1.6 p4 with 1/2GB RAM and your right its a bit sluggish. I have turned down some of the effects and seems to helped alot. My current plan is to add more ram and upgrade my cpu to the highest my chipset will allow. Then build a new system down the road.

oh and remember EQ2 was built to take advantage of the latest video technology. Personally, i would turn the graphics down and six months from now, build a new system when the prices of the newer hardware comes down.

Added Ram, now have a total of 1GB and it made all the difference in the world. Very little lag now, if at all.

with a p4 2.26, radeon 9700 pro, and 1 gig system ram I get serious lag when in the commonlands with 90+ people.

upgrading my machine tomorrow so hopefully that fixes the problem.

Never been to Commonlands but the Baubleshire with about twenty people has very little jerkiness. However, I do have letterbox on and graphics turned down a bit.
