2 glove slots? There's hands on the left of the screen... I suspect the 2 hand slots on the right are primary/secondary.

Nah.. the double hands on the left of the screen are for hands. On the right side is the wrist slots, although it is a bit misleading from just looking at a pic.

The primary and secondary slots are on the bottom.

ahh yah - wrists ok.

So looks like we lose an ear slot. And I am guessing the marble pyramid is a waist slot?

odd that there seems to be a food/drink slot. interesting to see how they have food/drink on the same slot. Maybe you can main hand a turkey leg.

I figured the marble pyramid was ammo.

This my interpretation (starting at upper left and working down and over to finish at upper right)

Head or face
Body
Back
Arm
Hands
Legs
Feet
Food
Primary
Secondary
Waist
Ammo or Ranged
Wrist 1
Wrist 2
Finger 1
Finger 2
Ear
Neck or Shoulder
18 slots total

EQ Live gives you 22 slots total.

So if this inventory window is accurate we lose 5 slots (ear2, face, Shoulder/Neck, Ranged, Charm). with the addition of the food slot to save an inventory slot.

This isn't to say that ranged weapons will not take up both primary and secondary slots in eq2 (for bows) and the ammo (or primary or secondary) slot for something like a throwing dagger or axe. If you look at EQ2's official site the ranged weapons have the categories of 2-hand ranged and 1-hand ranged.

Of course this is speculation, but judging by some of the screen shots it looks like your current equiped weapon is mounted to you when not in battle. SO i would say that unlike EQ if you want to use a bow it will occupy your Prim/seconday slots and if you want to use a sword or what not you'll have to switch it out.

I recall reading *somewhere* that the avatars no longer appear to be running around waving their swords about. Whether or not that means you have to physically equip your weaps whenever you use them, I dunno. Will certainly be safer to shop in a crowd, lol.

Hmm, this sounds kinda like another game I've played, with hotkeys assigned to equip weapons, and if you approach an NPC with a weapon out, they're not as friendly.

I am a little surprised that they would be losing item slots. What with the gazillion slots in SWG - I figured there would be at LEAST the same amount as in EQlive. And I don' t know that that - scroll looking thing is a waist slot. I just don't know what that one might be.

Something to remember is that items degrade over time. THe more the items are used the more the work to keep them up.../shrugs
