Come to think of it, my target ring has never worked. I installed the one Colden made and it never worked. Still doesn't.

target rings are separate graphix in OLD UI folder (also in default UI but we covering only OLD UI in this thread) ... the control file is:

The graphics for the target rings are:

TargetIndicator.tga - Main texture layer
assist.tga - ring you see when using Delegate Main Assist

{{con-levels target rings}}
Trivial, VeryEasy, Easy, FairMatch, Difficult, Deadly (.tga)

{{Mark NPC textures}}
Mark0, Mark1, Mark2, Mark3, Mark4, Mark5, Mark6 (.tga)
(note 4, 5, and 6 are not called from TargetIndicator.ini by default)

anyone know how i can use the old UI and just get the new horizontal hotbutton windows?

Thats easy, just copy the hotbutton file from default UI in /Everquest/uifiles/default to your OLD UI or custom UI folder (backup your custom or old one beforehand) the name of the file is.

Reason I say to backup old one if you decide you want to return to verticle hotbar. The only issue I'm working on is the button to save, load, delete hotbutton-sets, which I've never used but one time to save initially. Maybe click SAVE while verticle is still up so you'll have a current hotkey save list.

Oh and you're very welcome Blues :)

** Horizontal Hotbar add-on for OLD UI ** ...

Fixed this up if anyone wants horizontal hotbars while still using OLD UI. I'd make a new folder and copy all old UI files into it before applying this add-on, but at least backup the two files involved which are:

Backup those 2 files so you can go back to verticle hotbar easily. Hotbar Options work fine too still.

**OLD UI FIX** Serpent Spine release - Sep 20, 2006 1:30p EST

Download file and unzip into your \Everquest\uifiles\default_old folder.

This is the entire OLD UI so if you don't have it, you can create a folder under \Everquest\uifiles\ to put them in, then in-game switch to that UI.

This will not work with other custom UI's, only the old one.

*note* Sorry I don't design custom UI's, only fix the OLD one for those like myself that resist Sony pushing them into new interface hehe.

I tried fixing vert and it's simply too small to fit rest icons on anywhere but the inventory screen, so here's a good substitute for us vert users, TSS ready. Also it's pretty. If you have a map pack downloaded you don't get the weird colored maps.

And by request, old default UI with a modded player window

What is vert ??

Jae if your files are damaged redownload the file.. they are all intact inside the zip file np.

UI I know that at least 10 of us use, and its creator has said he isn't going to update it for TSS =(

On the top of page 3 of this thread, there is an interesting topic.

They changed the con colors right? Will that have an effect on the target ring mod?
