LOL

This is just too fucking funny to me.

Beware, completley unEQ-related.

man, you can tell steve wrote that.

Boy was it funny to see him dance to Beastie Boys.

She hasn't even seen him dance to gabber yet $$$

I was a little nervous at first since I never really had a boyfriend, but Steve wasn't like other guys, so my timidness went away very quickly. I instantly knew that we would last.

Holy shit, good luck man

Congratz Z man.

Now, it states that she wants to keep this a secret. Exactly how secret is it if its posted on the web? lol And it was linked here by you. lol

Shhhhh don't tell anyone..../wink, /wink, /wink.

I am really happy for you though hun. Wish I had a guy that would put flowers on my desk everyday for six months, but than again, I wish I had a job that had a desk, that would kinda help I think. lol

um... in 18 months? Ok - I admit - I had perhaps as much time in my engagement - BUT --- lets look at my timeline vs yours. I was still in College when I proposed to my wife even tho we were planning on getting married after I was done with school - I forgot you were officially supposed to propose. I didn't ask anyones permission. Since I think Steff's mom had already kicked her out of the house at this point (another long story - essentially about a 21 year old woman telling her mom that she wasn't going home one night because we were leaving early the next morning to go to an amusment park and was counter-intuitive[to a male] to drive the opposite way that night and the next morning just because her mother would object.
So anyways - we got married - 1 month after I graduated. SO here you guys are - 8 months after you graduated - and when you get engaged you set it for 18 months from now? what? heh - kids today.

I was engaged to my wife for 20 months. My sister got engaged shortly after I did and she wanted her wedding the following summer. Rather than have two weddings in the family over one summer, we put ours off until next year.

It worked out great for us, my wife graduated and got her first (and current) teaching job. (for a whopping 32k in 1995, go go college degree) I was making in the 30-35kish range back then, and I lived with my parents still. We were able to save enough money to buy a brand new house and have a very nice wedding (thanks to generous parents).

We were both in college when I proposed as well, in fact I was still in college nearly 3 years after we were married due to my supreme slackerness and changing majors 3-4 times. I figured it was finally time to graduate when I missed a Physical Chemistry lab due to my daughter's birth. But oh well.
