So it looks like about half the epic 2.0s finished, and EVEN THOUGH i don't have OoW and therefore will not even bother trying to obtain my Epic 1.5/2.0, i hereby entitle myself to jump on the soapbox and bash Sony for raping druids once again.

Synopsis of the known epics:

CLERIC - Aegis of Superior Divinity

Focus: Divine Blessing, decreases hatred (unresistable)
Clicky: Divine Balance, massive group heal (2000 HP)
WARRIOR - Kreljnok's Sword of Eternal Power

Focus: Rage of the Dragorn, decreases reuse timers
Clicky: Kreljnok's Fury, group increase spell resistance 20%
ENCHANTER - Staff of Eternal Eloquence

Focus: Eternal Eloquence, decreases hatred (unresistable)
Clicky: Aegis of Abstraction, essentially a really big Rune
MONK - Transcendant Fistwraps of Immortality

Focus: Balance of the Tranquil, decrease reuse timers by TWO MINUTES
Clicky: Peace of the Disciple,
SHADOWNIGHT - Innoruuk's Dark Blessing

Focus: Dark Blessing of Pain, increase spell damage by 40%
Clicky: Lich Sting, lifetap and 70% accuracy increase
BARD - Blade of Vesagran

+170 to all instruments
Clicky: Spirit of Vesagran, increases crit chance and accuracy 80%
RANGER - Aurora, the Heartwood Blade

Focus: Oshimai's Blessing, increase spell damage 40%
Clicky: Falcon Strike, increase crit chance and accuracy 170%
WIZARD - Staff of Phenomenal Power

Focus: Sorceror's Veil of Defiance, decreases hatred (unresistable)
Clicky: Sorceror's Guard of Perception, decrease spell resist by 15%
DRUID - Staff of Everliving Brambles

Focus: Serpent's Silence, decreases hatred (unresistable)
Clicky: Season's Fury, all spells to 5% more damage to a single target.
WHAT?!?! FIVE PERCENT?!? and for only 15 nukes (DoTs are not included, nor are AoEs). Fucking wonderful. Compare all the stats, the modifiers, and the effects and you have 8 kickass weapons and this tiny little sapling of an excuse for a hybrid weapon. I though it must have been a joke ... they finally make the druid epic a BLUNT WEAPON and then stick this pansy-ass clicky on it?

For fuck's sake, how about an area effect on that, or increase the percentage up from FIVE. You get your group (which must apparently be all casters) to get off 15 nukes (read = AGRO MAGNET since the effect lasts for exactly one goddamn minute) and all it does is increase the damage of the spells by five percent.

I suggest that anyone who manages to complete this insanely underbalanced peice of shit to insert it into the anus of the nearest Sony exec and make real use of the Brambles.

like any quested weapon or item you get what you get. If you don't like the result don't go for it. To compare what is great for other classes is silly. but then I am not a fanboi for balancing. I like imbalance in characters - its what keeps me in the game.

Epic 2.0 has been completed for druids

The second patch last night finally fixed the effects on the epic, which til this point still had never worked, not that it mattered. 3 mo's to fix a known bug on this.

I know every class complains about what they have but.....The effect tho that we get on the 1.5 is WAY unbalanced tho. I'd happily take HALF of any other classes effects.

the focus is a 4% less hatred, not sure you could really even tell the difference. No one has been able to parse it since it has never worked. And the clicky effect is not 5% more direct damage but a random average it to a 2.5% increase. YIPPEE. Oh and it only lasts for the first 10 DD's so during a raid should last around 2 seconds if the raid is really slacking. So basically it's an increase of a couple hundred hp's of damage total (if ur lucky), a real raid saver.

The 2.0 increased the number of hits from 10 to 15. So we're talking tens of more hp's damage to a mob. Yummy.

ps. I'd still like to see Goofy and the other TF druids working on it get this pos.

Morbier, was that a joke? Me work on a quest? Ya, right! Hey, I'm three kills away from completing my 1.5!! Once that's done, I'm off to 2.0. I don't think TF can kill the second to last mob. Might not be able to kill the last two mobs. I plan on killing the third to last mob next month.

TF can do those last two hits ... np. Will just take a full raid force I think. And I'm sure we can scrape up a few more friends just for overkill.

I did like the fact, that after 3months Soe finally found the time to make the effect on our epic work, but apparently it just stopped all people in the raid from doing any DD's whatsover. Classic. I'm suprised someone even took the time to click the near worthless thing to even find that out. Thus the emergency patch last night to fix that.
