yes. I tried dinging 66 without the expansion and I got silence in return.

Bought oow and first mob gave me a fucking heart attack.

Haven't heard the level ding in a long time.

Lvl 66-67: 6 hours of chain pulling deep water (lvl 67-69 mobs)
lvl 67-68: combined about 6 hours in PoEarth and 4 hours in KoD'Taz (lvl 64+ mobs.

Since i am on vacation i cannot comment on the next two levels, but it fucking BLOWS to xp those lvls even with mobs that are lvl 68+ GL on them =\

welll - that would assume that it is at all important to level quickly.

Since the speed and play time that you spend leveling doesn't matter at all - then it isn't important how long it takes - at least so long as you don't use anyone else's yardstick. But then --- once I decide to be level 66 - I will likely stay that way for a VERY long time before leveling.

Ok sure I have to die to get back to 65 - but tha is another story all together... I figure cap out my new skills in archery and melee skills - mebe before I die again - but then when a ranger dies - isn't neccesarily his call.

I wish SOE would not have required OoW to level up to 70. Beyond that though, so far OoW has some entertaining stuff with visually attractive zones to fight in and a few new mobs to face. If you have it, don't be shy to explore around.
