Verizon phone swap

Is there an easy way to change my verizon phone? I got a new (old) phone and I'm trying to make my number ring that phone without 1.) going to the verizon store or 2.) paying any money. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Take the sim card out of the phone you don't want and put into the phone you do want...done all yourself. It usually found under the battery.

Verizon & Alltel (which happened to recently finalize the merge) use CDMA. CDMA does not use SIM cards. It's also a RAZR, and from what I'm reading online and seeing with my phone, I don't have one. I will found some info on changing phones here: http://www.pinnycohen.com/2007/12/28/ho ... ur-sanity/

I'll try that after work.

verizon will switch the phone for free just take it in and talk to a rep. I have done it many times. I buy new phones and just take it in and have them switched over.

this prepaid cell company uses verizon's network for a shit ton less $$$.

you can use any verizon phone on their network. i would look into it. i bought a verizon phone at walmart for 20 bucks and put it on their network. i get 1200 any time minutes, 1200 text messages, and 50 megs of data usage for 30 bucks a month. works for me.
