Joint Raid with Proximity Saturday 8 PM Eastern 16 May

Hitting up blackburrow stop the ascension.

assemble outside of the instance in OGH at 8 PM Eastern. We need a minimum of 40 ( thats 5 per group) to do this event. Proximity is looking to join along with TF on some raids to provide them some raid content. They are potentially going to bring 10-14 raiders to at least some raids in the future as we try to put together a raid alliance.

Proximity you are welcome to join TFchat in order to get to meet TFers and expand your grouping pool. granted not ALL TFers are in TFchat - but if you sound off - peeps can hear you if you say more than one /tfchat hello.

We are working out two concepts for how we are doing the loots during our Alliance trial period.

Plan A: going to random all Loot at joint raids while both guilds earn TF raid DKP. Do this for a certain amount of joint raids - to give Prox a chance to earn some DKP. Then if the alliance is successful, transition to 100% DKP bids on all joint raids

Plan B: stake all Proximity that raid with us a to be determined start up DKP in order to be on a fair running start.

neither has been decided. will work on it

Sounds like a good idea to me.

As far as loots and DKP: Does Proximity award DKP like TF? If so, then transferring/adding their current DKP to our roster for joint raids would solve any problems.

no they don't have a DKP system. they are currently a non-raiding guild with a dozen raid capable players that miss it / want to step up to it.

With so little discussion and this only 2 days away, going to go with 100% DKP awarded -and all loots distributed by /ran 1k. after a future determined number of raids I would say between 5-7, all loots will be distributed by DKP if the alliance is successful towards both guilds objectives.

Sounds good, Serano... /rand 1k will be as fair as possible to both guilds. I also think joint raid(s) with possible merge is a good idea in general, to build a larger raiding base and hopefully gain some forward momentum.

In the event that this might actually work out to our mutual benefit, are we planning on getting Proximity members access to Raid Forum so they can see/comment on future events?

looking forward to this ..I really think this is going to be good for both guilds..Hope to get going at 8 est..We should start raid inviteing around 7:45.Im sure ill be on if anyone wants to give a tell..See you all there.

Yes.. we already have a usergroup that provides access to Raid Discussion and War Room... of course we'd need a list of users to add to that group.

Zone into Blackburrow using its regular zone-in. Shortly after doing so, the regular gnolls in the zone will flee, clearing the way for you.


Stop the ritual 0/1 (Blackburrow)

A Wrext Mal martyr is found a little ways into the zone (open the door from the topside, work your way down to the first bridge, and there he is). Killing this mob triggers a 20-minute timer. You have 20 minutes to "stop the ritual" before the task fails.

Your faction standing with Blackburrow Gnolls got worse.
Your faction standing with Darkpaw Gnolls got better.
Your faction standing with Cirtan, Bayle's Herald got better.

A loud barking voice echoes throughout the caverns.

Eight renewal totems spawn around the area at the base of the waterfall, each of which surrounded by three Wrext Mal gnolls (1 mundunugu + 2 other random types).

For each totem:
- No more than 7 or 8 people and/or pets can be within range of the totem.
- Once within range of the totem and on the gnolls' hatelist, you cannot move away from the totem.
- The bloodreaver and shaman can be killed whenever or however you'd like.
- Keep the mundunugu alive (for now).

Once all eight totem groups are ready, they need to kill their "a Wrext Mal mundunugu" mobs. All eight must die within moments of each other.

If too many people are at a particular totem, adds spawn:

a Wrext Mal bloodreaver shouts, 'There are too many invaders, activate reinforcements!'

If you move away from your totem once you're on aggro:

a Wrext Mal shaman shouts, 'The invaders are running! Get them before they escape!'

If your 20 minute timer runs out:

A loud barking voice echoes throughout the caverns.
You have failed to stop .. ... ... .. ... ..........! You will not .. .. .. .... .. ....!
(The blanks here are what?)

Your shared task, 'Stop the Ascension', has ended.

The "stop the ritual" step updates once these eight mobs are killed within a short period. There are no timers for the rest of the raid.


Explore the noise from the eastern tunnels 0/1 (Blackburrow)

From the bottom area of the waterfall, head east to a previously locked door. This step updates shortly after walking into the tunnel. (same location as "Beat the Blackburrow Boss" end mob)


Kill 1 Rottrued the Twisted 0/1 (Blackburrow)

Rottrued the Twisted hits for a max ~13,000; single-target rampages; AE rampages (full damage); enrages; and casts three spells: Chaotic Feedback, Chaotic Recovery, and Explosion.

Chaotic Feedback: Single Target, Chromatic (-650)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 2000 to 15000 (random)

Chaotic Recovery: Self 0', Chromatic (-650)
1: Increase Hitpoints by 10000 to 100000 (random)

Explosion: PB AE 150', Fire (-350)
1: Decrease Hitpoints by 12500
2: Stun(1.00 sec)

See if you can find what is influencing the gnolls 0/1 (Blackburrow)

Head further into the hidden area of Blackburrow until you come across a noc called "a hidden agent". It'll attack for a few moments before you see

It is not a easy event. And if you have people who have never done it before, it is that much harder. But fun nonetheless.

Unfortunately I wasn't in a position that allowed much involvement with our Proximity allies but every thing I heard it was very positive.
