Returning to EQ

Postby Sulsciste » Mon Mar 09, 2009 5:41 pm

Hi All,

Many probably have never heard of me before, but I am returning to EQ, after a long time away. My main is now quite out dated, after being outdated when i originally joined TF. It appears that many of my EQ friends in the guild have now since moved on, but I am coming back - and bringing my best friend in real life Shoolace with me. I know not how much time I will be playing, and i am probably 10x gimpier than most peoples second and third alts now, but Shoo and I will be trying to "catch up" (how that happens when you are 73 with less than 200 aa, I do not know).

I look forward to attempting to raid as much as I can, knowing full well i will be keyed for next to nothing, but will thoroughly enjoy a second crack at Anguish (seriously, I've only been there once). Anyway i look forward to getting back into the mix, and hopefully meet some new folks (and maybe some people to group with...even if it means FDing while others slay like Urtasil, Jaella and Eastmoor to name a few used to make me do back in the day)

Cheers to all,
Sully

It appears it will be official tomorrow - I started downloading EQ again (new comp since I last played) and patching 3 and half hours ago and its only 2/3 done. Ouch.

Yup I have to scratch the itch also, EQ is patching as I type. It's taking forever though as my brother is eating up the bandwidth playing Left 4 Dead, 15 hours damn. I've wanted to return for a while now, but this semesters classes has basically eaten up all my free time. I'm on spring break right now so will pretty active, but i'm not sure how much i'll be playing during the week when classes start up again. Feels great to be coming back though and for sully to finally be playing again, and thanks for the love brikksx. :razz

WB Sol & Shoo, will be good to see you back on track.
as to catching up? not a problem, i am sure u can find many of us looking to do something and catching you up on some good group gear will be a good start (SoD) t3,t4 &t5... easy to obtain and great stats not to mention the various rott items our members farm out.

Nice to see so many good people still around.

Patching is done, now i'm trying to use one of those game cards to activate my account. Keep getting an error though, so I will be on as soon as this damn thing decides to work.
