I think the worst of it is over. It took a lot for Serano and Bilnick to admit that mistakes were made, and for that I have a whole new respect for the guild. I'd much rather see the guild have to take a step or two back than continue to see complete disharmony between guild members. It may be a little slow, but from here on out I only see the guild moving forward. I wouldn't at all be surprised if the guild is even stronger than before after getting back on track.

tyranny   /ˈtɪrəni/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [tir-uh-nee] Show IPA
–noun, plural -nies.
1. arbitrary or unrestrained exercise of power; despotic abuse of authority.

To lead is to serve. /salute to our leaders past and present, (with a few recent misguided exceptions)

To rule is to impose your will on others.

This entire chain of events is quite sad. Most of these new members were a likable bunch, with a few exceptions. But to come into a guild and show a complete lack of respect for the existing members and ways is unacceptable.
They joined to raid only, not to actually become a part of the guild. They wreaked havoc to the point that people quit just to get away from it. and then when they finally saw that they were not going to have it their way . . . they left.

The tail could not wag the dog.

To those of you with good hearts I hope you find what you seek. beware though, you may be judged by those that you associate with. To those of you that defended the actions of the rude ones, I hope you reap what you sow, they will turn on you as well one day.

To the asshole that deguilded me on the way out . . . nice touch! :thumbup

you are kidding me, someone deguilded you prior to deguilding as an officer? jeezuz. funny, because with the exception of Sinadar and Worff, havn't got a peep from the other 3 officers in about a week - then again, was a rough week at work. Turns out starting my 4th week tomorrow filling in for my boss.

Yeah.. I was updating roster and saw no Meso and I was like WTF lol. Then he sent me a tell asking what happened, that was our best guess one of the 3 that left deguilded him before themselves.

Fixed Meso right back up tho :)

Ok all folks, for those sitting on the fence waiting to see how the ash would settle. Looks like the DRO / Red Wrist crew who, were either not logging on, or watching things go on without doing anything for (or against) TF for the last week have stopped dragging their heals and left, as TF is not the guild they wanted to morph it into.

Currently, TF isn't really the guild most of us are used to it being, but at least it is home, and for those that realized it wasn't home so long as some others were here, those folks that wanted TF to lose its roots are gone now.

If these folks leaving was the what you guys were waiting on to decide to throw in with us trying to shore us back up, it has happened. Yes, TF is "broken" so far as raid force goes right now. Even if the half dozen to full dozen folks that are tempted to coming home return, we still have another dozen folks we will need to recruit / grow in order to return to where we were, in shear numbers. Rebuilds are suck, and can kill most any other guild. Luckily, TF is about the opposite of most any other guild you can find in way of loyalty, love, and tenacity.

So, please spread the word to the fence sitters, that if you were waiting for certain peeps to get out in order to remove your hesitation at coming home, it happened. Other than the rebuild process, I am pretty sure we are back to 100% Tribal Fury roots again. My offers from the first post are all on the table. Those that have known me for any period of time, know that I LOATHE the idea of recruiting from other guilds, and I know that some of us have thrown in with our buddies at CN or are looking elsewhere right now. I totally understand (and even agree) if you are not interested in cutting those new bonds. It would be asinine of me to expect otherwise. But if the right answer is coming home, I am sure our pals out there around Maelin understand that we have had some interesting times, and prolly won't hold it against you or TF if re-join TF as we get back to fixing ourselves.

:jester Meso, Tooo funny for words - it does indeed serve though, to illustrate what sort of immature individuals we were having to contend with.
